Bottle, thanks Cuso, very dark allmost opaque brown colour, stable creamy beige head, aroma of cherries and dark bread with a hint of piney wood and maybe a hint of coffee, flavour of cherries and plums, a strong piercing sourness and a light body. Maybe a bit old and not how it should be, but i still quite liked it.

Draft @ the brewpub. Pours a dark brown color with a small longlasting off-white head. Has a sweetish malty caramel and fudge aroma. Sweetish malty bready caramel flavor. Has a sweetish malty caramel toffee finish.

Lahev (many thanks to Cuso!): Deep chestnut-amber coloured, hazy, medium-sized stable rocky tanned head, slight traces of infection in the mineralic-toasty nose; pretty light bodied, sweet-bitter flavour with a delicate acidity; short and light sweetish-toasty finish with a subtle malt-bitterness and hints of milk-chocolate. A bit thin and slightly infected. Deserves a second chance.......

bottle, kindly donated by Cuso - Thank you! Deep brown, almost black colour, large beige head, very creamy. Aroma of dark malts and chocolate. Full-bodied, intensively malty, lots of chocolate in the taste, shy hints of caramel and raisins. Very nice, lovely chocolate flavours.

Bottled from brewery. Red brown color with nice thick beige head. Yeast, milk chocolate in aroma. Taste, roasted malt, milk chocolate, little bit sourish. Bittersweet finish. Drinkable beer. Best of the Sessler beers.

On tap at Bratislavský Mestiansky Pivovar: Aroma, maty, caramel, chocolate. Taste roasted malt, caramel, with nice long cofee-chocolat finish. I don’t like Dunkels so much, but this is good, complex, interesting beer.

Draught at the brewpub. Cloudy very dark brown, small creamy head. Sweet with medium body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Coffee with sugar and cream, some caramel. More milk chocolate than bitterness in the finish.

From tap at the brewpub. Pours dark brown to black with a tan head. Aroma is roasted and breadish malt, vague butterish note. Semi sweet malt flavoured, nice toffee and liqourice note. Subtle, yet increasing bitterness coming through into the finish providing an uplifting feel to the dense roasted malt flavours. Ends dry and lingering dark malty.
