500ml bottle from Brightside. Gluten Free. Chestnut brown colour, off-white bubbly foam head leaving lacing and aroma of malt, caramel. Taste is sweetish, malty, caramel, fruity, hints of chocolate & nut, and with some mild bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, sweetish mellow nutty finish. Quite drinkable

28/10/2021. Cask at the 2021 Norwich Beer Festival. Pours clear bright chestnut brown with a small bubbly off-white to beige head. Lovely looking beer. Aroma of malt, nut, fruit, touch of chocolate. Moderate sweetness, light bitterness. Moderate body, slight oily texture, soft carbonation.

Cask at Norwich Beer Fest: Poured a dark brown with a tan head. Aroma is rich roasted malts. Taste is rich roasted malts, chocolate hints, rich dryness.

Manchester Beer Festival. Between bronze and brown with a creamy head. Has light roasted malts in its aroma and a malty taste.

Gravity dispense at EBF XVI, 09/11/13. Very lightly hazed dark chestnut brown with a thin off white swirl atop the glass. Nose is tangy fruits, bread dough, earthy, toffee. Taste comprises dark fruits, brown bread, earthy, light roast malt notes, Medium bodied, fine carbonation, dry finish. So so mild.
