Classic pun! Very good beer too. Not too sour, unlike the last quince beer I had.

330ml bottle. Cloudy, orange golden colour with small, frothy, fading, white head. Lactic and fruity aroma, hints of sauerkraut, some quince, a citrusy and fruit acidic touch. Taste is sweet-ish, fruity and mildly lactic, notes of honey, quince, a touch of sauerkraut, lemon, fruit acid. Watery texture, smooth and soft palate, medium to fine, soft carbonation. Mild, balanced, refreshing - OK.

Bottle. Pours hazy golden with a few floaties if you store the bottle on the side like I did. Tart citrus and quince nose, medium to full sweet honeyish base, light sparkles. Fizzlestick notes with sweet balance, Radlerish finish.

0.33 l bottle from 'Craftbeershop.com', best before December 2024. Hazy, golden amber with a thin, frothy, quickly collapsing, white head. Sweetish, slightly sourish, quite fruity-floral aroma of honey, lemon and quince. Quite sweet, slightly sour, rather fruity taste of honey, quince and lemon, followed by a short, gently tart finish. Medium body, slightly astringent, smooth and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Very pleasant sour ale, really well-balanced with a perfect match of honey and quince. Way better than expected.
