Bottle. Clear gold featuring a good white head. Aroma of grains, bread and crackers. Taste of bread, grains, dough, crackers and minerals. Just a tad bit spicy. Low to moderate bitterness. Medium carbonation. Easy going. Unremarkable and restrained as expected but drinkable enough.

Bottle, 5.0%. Weak dusty and grainy aroma. Clear shiny golden colour. Ok stable white head. The flavour is fairly malty. Low to medium bitterness. The aftertaste is slightly grainy but mostly dusty.

0.33 l bottle from local 'Trink & Spare', best before October 2023. Clear, golden with a medium large, foamy, almost stable, white head. Sweetish, slightly malty, a little fruity-grassy aroma of grains, some straw, traces of lemon peel and a tad of butter. Gently sweet, slightly malty, moderately bitter, a bit fruity-grassy taste of grains, some straw and hints of lemon peel, followed by a short, gently bitter, even slightly dry finish. Almost medium-bodied, smooth but gently effervescent mouthfeel, soft to average carbonation. Actually a decent Helles, rather bitter for the style, yet very classic.
