Bottle. Pale cloudy orange with a white head that fades to a cm. Aroma is bready with cloves and banana. Decent body but little spicy or lemony zing to lift it makes it a little tiresome before the half litre is gone. .

Pours hazy honey yellow with a frothy white head. The aroma promises bubblegum and banana, Hints of leather. Taste is overall banana sweet with a light lemon tartness that arises going into the finish. Body is light and a bit watery. Average carbonation. Overall it goes down very easy and remains refreshing, but is also entirely forgettable.

At a tasting, thanks, smallish bubbly head, quite hazy yellow color, aroma of sour fruit, almond and spicy yeast, strong almond aroma, quite strong sourness, a bit coarse. Fair, but a bit too old.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Max’s place. Thanks zvikar. Cloudy yellow. Aroma of wheat, banana, citrus. Slightly sweetish flavor with a tart hint, fruity esters, light spicy note. Easy-drinking.

500ml bottle as Höss Weisser Hirsch Allgäuer Weizen. Pours hazy yellow with a medium white head. Strong aroma of banana and wheat. Taste is wheat, yeast, apricot. Seems a bit too carbonated. Above average, but there are other better, cheaper and easier to find weizens.
