0,5 l bottle from Erzengel. Thanks a lot! BB 02.12.26. Murky yellow golden in the glass, with a nearly two finger white foamy head in the glass. Dry orange, banana, strawberry marmelade and yeast on the nose, pale malt. Taste starts little bit dry with strawberry and sweet orange, yeasty. Banana and increasing pale malty bitterness in the second part. Not bad. Bavarian standard.

500 ml bottle. Cloudy orange with a fluffy head. A very classic Weißbier showcasting the typical aromas of banana, wheat, clove, lemon zest, some vanilla. Dry zesty bitterness, fruity sweetness, somewhat sourish Medium bodied, oily texture, soft to lively carbonated, dry zesty fruity bittersweet sourish finish. Weißbier from Allgäu never disappoints.

Bottle picked from Sulzberger Bierhaus Pfaffenhofen an der Ilm and consumed at home Wednesday 3rd May 2023, we had a Steak Pie for tea with Mash and Broccoli in a Cheese Sauce and listened to Steve Lamaq and then Marc Riley on 6Music. Pours hazy yellow with a large white head, good yeastyness, banana and a little clove, this is a textbook Hefe Weisse, it's very nice, perhaps loses a mark as the carbonation which looked positive, seems to have dropped off. Glad that I got another one of these.

Bottle looks simple, but good. Beer in the glass dark, turbid, short living head. Starts fruity-sourish, notes of lemon and apricot. Finish fresh, zippy, fruity, dry-sourish. A bit unbalanced. Not my favourite!
