Bottle from Pub-up-beershop, Wolvega. Aroma is spicy and roasty with dark malt, cinnamon, cold coffee, and a weird unpleasant touch of fertilizer. Flavour is sourish, mild sweet and light bitter. Lingering tartness/sourness. Body is medium. What a mess, sourness is unwelcome and the off-flavour is grating.

330ml bottle. Jet black colour with late awakening, small, creamy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, tan head. Relatively weak, spicy and dark malty, slightly woody, minimally tannic aroma, hints of dark chocolate, cocoa, oak, aniseed, sourish green wood. Taste is spicy and dark malty, slightly woody, notes of dark chocolate, dark caramel, some cocoa, cinnamon, aniseed, a touch of oak, a minimally fruity alcoholic touch of plum wine. Slightly oily texture, smooth and soft, minimally greasy palate, fine, soft carbonation. A bit disharmonious, relatively light - OK.

Bottle from Beerdome. Black with a small light brown head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt, coffee, star anise and chocolate. Flavor is quite sweet and moderate bitter. Sweet and moderae bitter finish. Oily. A bit weak and star anise has never done any good for any beer. 130620

Smell-weak, bit to medium, malt, bit of roast and acidic tones, faint cofee. Foam- thin, acidic, sour, malt, som,e odd taste. Head is tiny dark brown color. Appearance- generic black bottle cap, simple bottle. Black color, very little carbonation. From - snifter Taste - sour-sweet-malty. Feels messy for me, feels off, and well before BBD...no thanks.
