On tap @ Beer Temple (vertical with Summit).Amber color, slightly hazy. Off white sticky head, good lace. Aroma’s form a nice balance between malty sweetness and citrussy, piney hops. Retronasal the malt vanishes a bit and there’s more harsh hoppiness and some sweet fruit. Flavor is medium bitter and lightly sweet, with a hint of acidity. Medium bodied. Dry finish and quite bitter (but not mouthpuckering). True west-coast IPA

Great bitter taste. Great smell. Off course it’s all about the hops with this series. Color nice as well. Palate could be a little better though. Little off balance.

The bottle might be boring, the beers isn’t. Nice IPA. Not the best, but since it’s my favorite style it scores quite high. There are better ones, but still it’s a nice beer.

11.2oz bottle pours clear copper with off white head. The mild aroma lets loose small clouds of spicy hops, some maltiness, hop resin, grassiness and some earthiness too. The flavor has firm levels of resiny hops that are a combination of grassiness, spiciness and some oddly bitter floral notes. Loads of pleasing hop resin ride right into the finish helping to dry this out some.

330ml bottle carried back home from Vinmonopolet Vika in Oslo. Solid rocky, off-white head with satisfying duration, and leaving lace rings behind. Citrus fruits to the nose together with bread-like malts. The flavour is dominated by pineapple, orange and grapefruit added a spicy touch. Nice bitter ending. Drinks very well, tasty and refreshing. One or two more to go (Tromsø, 19.02.2011).
