Bottle: Poured a hazy lightly dirty amber color ale with a nice fluffy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma consists of citrus and piney notes are quite dominant. Taste is also dominated by citrus notes with light resin notes as well with light caramel malt backbone. Body is quite full with good carbonation. Well done though not necessarily my favourite hops when presented on its own.

Draught at City Pub, Göteborg. A while back, was on March 19, 2010.Hazy copper color, off-white head. Sweet, fruity, pineapple, hoppy scent, almost candy like, though with a buttery and bitter touch. Bitter, metallic, hoppy, sweet, fruity taste. Bitter and fruity aftertaste. Mdium mouthfeel, semi high bitterness.

Sample on tap at HopCat. Body was a nice orange with quite a few bubbles sticking to the side of the glass and a pine and citrus aroma that covers a not-so-nice malt presence. I’m not quite sure what the deal is, but this has the same malt flaw that doesn’t mesh well with the hops... almost like a caramel and cracker flavor or something like that. It stuck out too much and ruined the beer.

Bottle from Holiday Wine in Escondido, CA. Pours hazy orange amber with a decent beige head. Aroma is floral/citrus with some mild caramel underpinning. Medium plus body with chewy/foamy carbonation. The flavor is really citrus, but there is almost perfume to go with it. The malt gets rather lost, but that’s ok. This is really hoppy stuff. Just excellent.

Bottled. Hazy orange color, short head. Aroma of grassy hop, slight piney, quite soft aroma. Decent bitter taste, not as harsh as some other hops.

11.2 oz bottle purchased at Gomer’s Lee’s Summit. 23/12/11 stamped on bottle cap. Pour is a slightly hazed orange amber ruby with a nice light tan one inch head. Nice looking in the Chimay goblet. Aroma of fresh hay, resinous earthy pine along with lightly caramel malt. Taste is resin, grainy, earthy light pine, finish with the lightly sweet malt. Nice balance between hop and malt. Aftertaste lingers a bit with dusty earth. Palate is medium bodied, nice soft carbonation, dry finish.

Bottle. It’s a hazy, orange-glowing dark golden beer topped by a diminishing beige head of moderate size. The aroma is just lovely, green pine cones, resin and grapefruit with some sugary maltyness in the back. It’s full-bodied and a bit sweeter than I prefer, but the overall flavor is very nice. Some notes of caramel malts, as mentioned a bit sugary, but then there’s the lovely resiny, citrusy hops that leaves a really pleasant bitterness. There’s a good dash of residual sugars in the finish, but the bitterness is sufficient to cope with it without any problem. Overall, really pleasant, but I would like it drier. 100702

Picked this up at Bierkoning, Amsterdam, Netherlands, and consumed at home 26-06-10 Pours amber/orange with a white head. Crisp fruity grapefruit with pine comes through but there is a softness in the mouth. Sweetness tempers the citrus, finish is tangy and refreshing, lovely beer. A6 A4 T8 P4 Ov14 3.6

Bottle thanks to jkwalking05. Pours with a large, off-white head and a hazed amber body. Aroma is earthy, spicy, melon, grassy. Lightly grainy malt bill with some crystal sweetness. Taste is bitter, orange, earthy, pine forest. Quite bitter. Lively bubbles.
