Bottle at home shared with Laura. Opaque black color with a decent sized light brown colored head. Aroma and flavor are really nice imo, traditional very solid stout: malts, soft roast, chocolate, suitable soft bitterness. Very very balanced and a great soft mouthfeel. Delicious beer, very well done.

Creamy lightbrown good mostly lasting head. Black colour. Moderate malty and hoppy aroma. Heavy bitter flavor. Long heavy bitter finish. Creamy palate.

330 ml bottle. Pours a very dark brown with moderate tan head. Aromas of treacle, dark fruit, licorice and roasted malts. Flavors of licorice, dark chocolate and roasted malts. A solid stout with a fruity Belgian influence.

Really nice aroma dominated by licorice, roasted malts.
Flavor is tons of licorice , different kinds of licorice, licorice, licorice roots , salty licorice from Finland.
Roasted malty balance , a unique belgian imp stout that is more or less creating its own new style.

21/XI/23 - on tap @ HoReCa Expo 2023 (Gent), BB: 15/III/26 (2023-1083) Thanks to Erwin, Peter a.o. for sharing today’s beer!
Clear dark brown to black beer, creamy beige head, a little stable, non adhesive. Aroma: malty, pretty oxidized, a bit sourish impression, dried fruits, a bit dusty. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: a bit oxidized, malty, caramel, a bit sourish, alcohol, chocolate notes. Aftertaste: grains, malty, bitter, hoppy finish.

Dunkelmalziger Beginn, leicht rauchig, erkennbar alkoholisch, was mit der Zeit störend wirkt. Leicht torfig, erkennbare Bitterkeit, mittellanger Abgang. 9/7/8/8/6/8

Pours black, small tanned head . Scent is roasty, intense chocolate, mild vanilla. Taste is smooth, very ashy, intense roasty, soy, quite balanced but not my preferred style of impy. Well executed for the goal they probably had. I can see why this brewery is gaining respect rapidly.
