This is a blend of Angel's Share (aged on Cabernet Franc grapes) and Sangre del Cristo (Phunky Duck with sour cherries). Other rumored additions include a soured version of Avant Garde, raspberry mead, and tangerines. Tomme indicated that this was "sangria," with a blend of red wine barrel beer and orange zest.

Corked bottle. Orange red color, no head. Cherry, marzipan and citrus in the aroma. Intensely sour oaky dusty flavor with notes of cherry, raspberry and leather. Lemon. Fairly well rounded with a shortish aftertaste. Well made, fairly complex sour.

Sampled this at a sour tasting that Tomme Arthur showed up at out of the blue at. Oh wow, even from the other room we could hear this beer *gush.* Poured a slightly cloudy orange-red color with an initial off-white head which dissipates quite quickly, leaving just a tiny wispy head. Aroma was a solid raspberry fruit note, with a sightly sweet raspberry seed aroma. Tart, but definitely not too tart. Nice cheek puckering notes.

750ml bottle gushed on opening. Pours a hazy, light copper amber with a thin ring of white head. Nose is really juicy and jammy, raspberry, strawberry, some sweetness. Flavor is super acidic, like a raspberry viniagrette, cherry, strawberry, light lurking sweetness. Really hot, acidic finish. Not my favorite.

Bottle shared by Justin at LCBS 10. Oh man, the truth, or veritas, is this is one sour ass ale. In an epic line up of sour ales, this was by far the most bitter, no wait ass puckering, ale of them all. A frighteningly acidic and vinegary nose. The taste is so tart and acidic the only thing it could think, is where are the rolaids??

Bottled. An unclear red beer with a thin white head. The has notes of wood, brettanomy, berries, and lemon. The flavor is very acidic with strong notes of alcohol, vinegar, wood, brettanomyces, and berries, leading to a very tart finish.

Bottle 75 cl. Courtesy of Sean9689. Pours an opaque reddish amber with an off-white head. Very fresh raspberry aroma, tart though, a whiff of vanilla. Medium body, lively carbonation - comes a slow gushin’. Very fresh raspberry notes, again some vanilla, extremely tart, exotic fruitiness. Very tart indeed, nah let’s just call this SOUR!. 290311

hazy orange-red, very small head. very nice slightly sweet aroma, sour beer, red fruits, stingy citrussy acid note. flavor is extremely sour and acid and citrussy. On top of the extreme sourness and vineagra flavors, we’ve got some really tasty berries. Still, very acid, a little too much imo.
