Can, 12%. The aroma starts off sweet, but turns more coffeeish with notes of salty liquorice. Pitch black colour. Small stable dark brown head. The flavour is also sweet to begin with. Followed by a mild salty liquorice note. Late ashes and bitter chocolate. And finally bitter coffee. It is very tasty, but also well-balanced.

Can at home, cellared this one for over 1.5 years. Nose is intense molasses, dark chocolate, coffee, booze and dark sugars. Taste is dark sugars, molasses, booze, dark chocolate and light dried berries. Closes with a somewhat dry, chocolatey boozy caramel finish, it has a medium to full body and soft carbonation.

Lattina.

From tap at Amsterdam Beer Fair 2016. Pours a nice black with a creamy/brown head. Aroma is dark roasted malt, smooth sweetish chocolate, a touch of coffee and some notes of dark fruits. Flavour is medium sweet and moderate roasty bitter. Full bodied with a creamy touch. Quite smooth, this one.

Lecker! 10/12/13/12/8/12 --- Beer aliased from original tick of Motorolie 10 on 10 Mar 2018 at 18:17 - Score: Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 6 | Flavor - 6 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 6.5. Can at home, picked up from an online peddler whom I can't recall, 07/11/24. Pitch black topped with a lasting khaki head. Nose is roast malt, molasses, umami, toffee, chocolate, nutty tang, dark fruit rinds. Taste comprises earthy roast, charr, ashen nip, molasses, dates, raisins, cocoa powder, hint of liquorice. Medium bodied with bite, fine carbonation, drying close spiked with a mellow rising boost. Decent enough old skool sipper of an impy.
