Tap at the brewery taproom. A jet black coloured pour with a a fine dark tan head. Aroma is dark, rich intense, black roast, liquorice, cherry fruits, bitter choc. Flavour is composed bitter black malts, liquorice, burnt cake, Warming alcohol, cake. Some raw alcohol in the finish. Paalte is semi sweet, rich, bitter, oily, moderate carbonation.

Aroma is slightly dry sour-ish roasted, weeds, sour-ish roasted grain, toast, dark sugar, dark malts, soil, bark, minerals, licorice, alcohol, fruit stones, dried dark fruits, rye bread, sour coffee. Taste is slightly sweet sour-ish roasted, dark sugar, sour-ish roasted grain, bark, toast, burnt rye bread, licorice, soil, alcohol, bloodlike minerals, sour coffee, fruit stones, old rope, leather. Medium to longlasting bitterness, boozy and harsh sour-ish roasted mouthfeel. Not my cup of coffee.
