Bottle: Pale greenish-golden coloured, mid-sized, slowly collapsing white head; sweet-grainy, a bit grassy bitter aroma; bitter sweet flavour, light bodied, soft MF, a bit sticky; moderate bitter-sweet, almost aromatic finish. Not bad, but ...yawn.....

(bottle, from pivnizub) Clear, paled golden colour with a medium-sized blonde foamy head. Slightly sweet malty, citrousy aroma with herbal hops and a touch of hay. Initially soft sweet malty taste with light citrus-fruity notes on a herbal background; light to medium bodied, crispy mouthfeel. Moderately dry, light bitter finish. Still a decent example of the style.

(Bottle 50 cl) Beautiful, grain-colored beer with a small, tight head. "Feinherb" usually means a hoppy beer, which is definitely the case here, where the bitterness really "bites". Fortunately, the hops do leave some flavor also. 190404

I'm with Joris on the sulphury notes, not sure about the cat pee though ;-) Otherwise metallic hop notes. Plae golden, low carbonation, low head. Light body and maltiness. Aromatic hops, which are pleasant but do not last long. I do not quite get the amount of bitterness in the aftertaste Joris got - could be more and drier for my taste.

Clear-gold; large bubbles converging to fluffy head. Very grainy nose, bit malty. Maybe tiny bit cat's pee too. Taste yields hoppy (typical German, Tettnang, etc) flavours. And precious little else. Some rubber/ cat's pee (sulphurish) retronasal. Watery texture, pretty light bodied. Long bitterish aftertaste, beginning mild and ending metallic. Oops. Not all German Pilseners are classics.
