Bügelverschlußflasche: Deep golden to light amber coloured, big fluffy off-white head; buttery, caramelly, a bit yeasty nose with spicy herbal hops in the backyard; light sweet-bitter flavour, light bodied, mellow MF; finishes a bit buttery, again, but mainly malty with a delicate illusion of hops in the aftertaste. Not bad, but lacks more hops...........

(swing top bottle, with special thanks to quack-duck for the sample!) colour with a fluffy and stable, slightly off-white head, slowly lacing. Sweet toast-malty aroma with distinctive notes of butterscotch with a touch of caramel and light herbal hops. Sweet, slightly bitter flavour, medium body with an almost crispy carbonation. Toast-malty, slightly buttery taste with caramel and shy herbal notes; medium-dry, moderately sweet malty and slightly herbal hoppy finish with butterscotch in the aftertaste. According its name I expected more hop character, but it is a pleasant and quaffable brew.
