Bottle. A hazy, reddish brown beer with a small, beige head. Dark sugars, cardamom, dried fruits and some coffee on the nose. A bit weak though. Sweet flavor with dried fruits, dark sugars, some spices and a little herbal bitterness. Effervescent and full-bodied. Short finish with some herbal bitterness. I like the spicy touch in this one, but it’s a bit too bland to be a really good beer. (090328)

50cl bottle at home, bought at skjold bourne allerød some time ago. best before 16.6.2009, sampled 19.2.2009 slightly hazy reddish brown, large thick light brown head. faint fruity aroma, faint sourness, malty aroma. judging from the aroma the beer might be sour from infection, i’ll find out in a second. flavor is dominantly sourish but not so sour that i can’t taste roasted malts. anyway, this is going down the sink, i’m too old for infected beer. brewn at raasted acc. to bottle.

Bottled. A deep red beer with a thin brown head. The aroma is sweet malty with a slightly burnt edge. The flavor is sweet malty with primary notes of caramel, leading to a dry finish. Thanks Myrup.

(Bottle 50 cl) Courtesy of Myrup. Clear, reddish brown with a beige head. Sweetish aroma of dried fruit. Fairly full in body with plenty of sweetish, dried fruit, roasted malts and some aniseed accents. Almost no bitterness but fairly alcoholic in the finish. 281207

50 cL bottle. Pours brown to deep amber with a quickly diminished off-white head. Skunky and spiced aroma. Flavour is spiced, slight soapy and with a mild skunk note. Subdued sweetness and with a slight herbal bitterness into the finish.
