LCRBM 2009. The bottle looks good, the beer in the glass deep brown, small head. Roasty-smoky aroma. Starts mild, almost a bit washy. Then a nice maltiness is growing, caramell notes, some fruit, plum. Warming and a bit prickly finish. Nice.

Very little head, brown-redamber beer. Bread, toaste, and sweet-ish, aroma of fried vegetables. Sourish taint upon sweet malty, faintly roasted flavours. Medium bodied, bit grist slickness. Nice, definitely better than the Belgian-made Xmas version. Extremely interesting to find the original, thanks DSG!

Amber with a small white head. Aroma of grass, sulphur and a hint of toffee. Flavour of cardboard and husky malt.

Deep golden yellow with a bit of haze. Aroma of peat. Medium body, flavor of malt and apples. Faintly biter finish. OK.

(Bottle 33 cl) Courtesy of omhper. Clear amber golden with a lively, off-white head. Lightly tart and sweet caramel aroma. Medium body with roasted malt and light notes of licorice. Very subdued bitterness. 200908

Bottled@omhper-post-SBWF-1st-weekend tasting. Amber colour, mediumsized beige head. Aroma is fruits, some mild wooden notes as well as some apples. Flavour is hops, some wood and strong on flowery hops. A nice and wellbalanced brew.

Bottled, thanks DSG! Clear amber, lively head. Dryish and caramelly, a tad appley. Medium bodied with fairly clean mouthfeel. A bit of grass, but fairly low hop rate. Low bitterness.

Cloudy deep amber with medium white head. Sweet malty aroma with caramel notes. Sweet flavour with yeasty, caramel and fruity notes. Ends sweet.

Leicht metallerner Geruch. Prickelnd traubenartiger, leicht säuerlich im Mittelteil werdend. Etwas würzig, frisch, getreidig, insgesamt mild. Im Abgang nun etwas würziger, merkwürdig eigen, süß. Etwas komisches Bier, geht aber in Ordnung. Test vom 12.8.2008, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 6,8,8,8,8,8 - 7,80

33cl bottle. Thank you DSG. Pours amber with a small white head. Sweet malty, sugar & syrup aroma. Medium bodied. Taste is slightly roasty & ashy with some caramel.
