Bottle shared at home, koszi Tomi! Pours copperish with an off-white head. Nose is caramel, biscuits, toffee and bready notes with some pine. Taste is sweet, showing booze, caramel, biscuits, toffee, pine and dried fruits with just enough bitterness so that it doesnt become overly sweet. Medium to full bodied with a soft carbonation. Not hoppy enough for an American bw, otherwise a decent beer.

330ml bottle. Slightly cloudy, redd-ish, amber colour with average to huge, thick, dense, creamy, moderately to mostly lasting, immensely lacing, sulphureous, off-white head. Mild and somewhat cautious, pale and caramel malty aroma with a touch of almond, marzipan, fruity hoppy hints of red berries, floral hoppy overtones. Taste is initially mellow malty and fruity hoppy, hints of marzipan, a touch of honey, nougat (Türkischer Honig), notes of red berries, red currant, increasing hop bitterness, dankness, resin and orange peel come in, a floral hoppy touch as well. Slightly oily texture, smooth and soft, slightly greasy, simultaneously minimally dry palate, fine, soft carbonation. Well crafted, immense and refined at once; technically a sipper, practically moreish - excellent!

A gift-box beauty. Beautiful color. Maroon-amber mixture. Huge yellowish-white solid very nice, durable head. Really fantastic, dried-fruity, raisin, sweet malt based scent on which the hops are still throwing! Absolutely full-bodied! Very serious! Sensational, silky, cognac, raisins, weakly carbonated. I could list the flavors because there is what. Many kinds of dried fruits. Extremely complex, mouth-adhesive. Compared to 11%, even alcohol was hidden, but still felt. World class Barley Wine! Just do it — just do it - a lasting memory of the Great Houdini !!! Congratulations! As a fan of style - and similar beers - I can’t give you fewer points! This bottle was a year and a half bottling, I think I will get it even more so I can taste it even more mature!

clear reddish amber colour, medium sized creamy beige-ish head; aroma of dried dates and figs soaked into alcohol, caramel, pine resiny and some orange-orange peel notes; perfectly balanced bittersweet taste with the same notes as can be felt in the aroma; great barley wine! Thank you so much, kapusil!

O.33l bottle. Clear copper body with a pearl head. Huge caramel and dates notes in the aroma with some toast, grass and a bit of citruses. There is a hint of peach jam too. Taste of caramel, figs, dates, pine, grass and some citruses. Complex beer for sure. Interesting that the aroma is closer to a British strong ale but the taste is definitely the American style. The body is thick with a syrupy texture. The only drawback is that my wife seems to like it as much as I do which is a threat to my stash. Very well done, wow.
