Festina Lente is a dark beer, with a firm, creamy head, non-filtered and non-pasteurized, bottle-conditioned. A subtle mix of herbs and spices was added, resulting in an inimitable aroma and flavourprofile. 16.2° Plato. Ingredients: Water, Pilsener malt, malted wheat, special malts, Pilgrim and EK Goldings, spices, yeast.

Bottle 330ml.Clear dark brown color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, caramel, sour malt, dark berry, raisin, plum, spice - herb notes, light alcohol. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet, light acidic and moderate bitter with a long duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft, finish is light alcoholic. dark brown, large offwhite to light brown head. quite spicy, caramelly, cinnamon aroma flavor is dark caramelly, roasted grains (faint) faint flowery note.spices. for a spice beer, quite well balanced and well done.

Bottle thanks to bu11zeye. Pours with a tan head and a brown body. Aroma of gingerbread, caramel, molasses, raisins and earthy, damp forest leaves. Taste is lightly vinous, with gingerbread, caramel and vinegar. Light carbonation.

Bottle @ Alvinne. Pours a dark brown color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty spicy aroma. Fruity malty spicy flavor with hints of caramel and some hints of dark fruit. Has a malty spicy finish with a slightly fruity aftertaste.

Bottle from Alvinne. Pours very dark amber with a frothy beige/tan head. Aroma is suggestive of gingerbread. Medium body with frothy carbonation. It is bready and spicey. A bit astringent. I’m not saying I taste ginger per se, but it is seemingly gingerbread. Besides that it tastes of ripeish pale stone fruits. Finishes dryish, reasonably bitter, and subtly woody. Stuff even laces intrigingly.

bottle, pours a dark mahogany with a rich looking tan head. The nose is all over the place with strong examples of honeysuckel, maple syrup, black pepper, and all spice. Sweet maltyness finds it’s way in and is joined by a nice melody of sweet and sour flavors. Orange juice, toffee, and clove hang out for a bit and end with a light hop bitterness and a bitter peppery lingering finish. Nice brew with alot going on.

Bottled. A hazy deep red beer with thin light tan head. The aroma is sweet with notes of malt and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, and over ripe fruits, leading to a finish where the fruit note lingers.
