Inspired by the Mayan hot cocoa-based drink.
Collaboration with Põhjala.
Aroma brings together luxurious chocolate notes with slightly smoked dark plum. Rich and mildly sweet chocolate flavours harmonize with powerful, roasty and smoked coffee notes. A warming smoky spiciness lingers in the aftertaste. Beautifully balanced imperial porter with a full-bodied texture and rich flavours.

Can at Jeronimus, Den Bosch. Thick chocolate with chili peppers, roasted malt, cocoa nibs, some mocha, dark chocolate cake. Strong sweet flavour with some booze and a fairly firm chili burn. Decadent, thick, sweet, I like it.

Can shared by Cuso at Beer Dock. Very full body, medium carbonation. Loads of chocolate, cocoa, med-light coffee, toffee. Med-light pepper flavour. High sweetness, medium bitterness, medium chilli heat, med-light alco warmth. Intense, rich, tasty. Rewarding. Great beer. One of the few which mamage to incorporate chilli harmomically.

33cl can from Sip, Tallinn. Pours black with a rather modest, beige head. Roasty aroma with cocoa, chocolate and a nice chili burn. Sweet, desserty and warming both from alcohol and the chili. Certainly a nice onw.

Tap at Pohja Konn. Opaque colour and tiny beige head. Roasted, portwineish, raisiny, cocoa aroma. Full-bodied. Toasted, cocoa, chilli burn... tasted like slightly aged (which not bad). Warming aftertaste.

sample from small can. Many thanks for this to Tomek.

33 cl can @ home. Rated on 13.12.2022 Aroma has soy sauce and licorice. Flavour has dark chocolate, sharp-ish alcohol, some licorice and mild soy sauce tones. Throat-warming alcohol. Too boozy and also a bit messy. Kinda works as a slow sipper though.
