A beautifully made Madeira wine, just like sherry, is such a unique product. It's that rich, matured, oxidative flavor (dried fruits, nuts, caramel) that works so well with our 150 Watt. We love the traditional quiet way the wine is made, in which you can taste the richness of aromas that unfold in your nose and mouth. Hazy brown amber beer, small bubbly tan head. Palate is light and mildly dry, good minerally carbonation. The malts are quite light but deliver a nice chocolate and mild cream. Nice ripe fruits blend well with vanilla oak and fairly rich Madeira. Some mild esters before a light and slightly savoury finish which brings all these flavours together. Nice one.

Donker robijnrood bier met weinig schuim. Smaak is bitterzoet hoppig met iets van zoethout, wat anijs en een vleug van bessen erdoor. OK.
