Hazy golden color. Some sweet smokey aroma. The taste, even if thin, has a good smokey character, salami. Maybe the final is really too light.

Bottle. Strange beer. But I really like it. Creamy good mostly lasting head. Looks like a pilsener, but then you sense the aroma, and the smokemalt gets to you. Smells like barn (hense name Landøl= Countrybeer!)

Draught. Weak, smokey aroma. Golden colour, small white head. Flavour is also smokey with a little cow-stable to it. n6 3 6 3 11
Bottle. Subtle, but nice smoky aroma. Clear dark copper colour. Very small white head. Mild smoky flavour, woody coal smokiness, very good. Light mouthfeel, but OK. 7 3 7 3 17

Dark straw colour with great head and low visible carbonation. Light, fresh smokey aroma with bready malts. Light body. Hints of malt and a light beech smokiness. The smoke here is the dominant characteristic, but the beer is fairly light overall so it is not a dominating characteristic. I like the balance here. A rauchbier to drink all night.

Bottled at RBESG. Hazy bronze colour. Beechwood smokey nose. Sweet and malty with some licorice and tar. The mouthfeel is too clean and bold. Short finish.

(Bottle 33 cl) Dark amber colour, clear and filtered with almost no head. Distinct smoked aroma. Rather light, almost watery body and smoke all the way to the finish also containing a light bitterness. Honestly, smoked beers will never be any major favourite of mine. 200605

[At Københavnske Øldage 2005] An orange beer with a disappearing white head. The aroma is slighlty smoked and slightly malty. While the flavor is sweet malty with clear smoked notes and a dry end, but the body is thin. I’d like more smoke.
