Poured from 330mL bottle (bottles 13/06/22). Near black with small tan head and tiny bit of sediment. Light roast malt and chocolate, brown sugar, very mild rum notes. Quite nice.

Bottle: Poured a pitch-black color stout with a large dark brown foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of roasted malt with sopem black chocolate notes with some strong rum notes. Taste is also a mix of roasted malt and black chocolate notes with some strong rum notes with light woody notes and faint residual sugar notes. Body is full with good carbonation with some warming alcohol notes also perceptible. Very enjoyable rum barrel-agedstout.

Import bottle from Phil Boutin tasted on June 10th 2022. Milk chocolate, brown sugar and rum are proof of a complex olfactory and embellished with esters of raisins and prunes. The mocha-colored foam is quite thick but effervescent and leaky on the black and opaque liquid. Notes of chocolate for a starter before it explodes in heat of alcohol afterwards. Rum is spicy and, probably combined with hops, gives us notes of pepper. Esters reminiscent of prunes and raisins are also on the program with woody notes from the barrel. The finish lets express an intense alcohol on a soft bitterness. O:7.75 V:3.9 G:8.15 C:2.9 G:15.6 T:38.3
