Bottle @ LCRBM 2008. Mushy, earthy aroma. Malty, earthy flavor with hints of cinnamon. Some grassy hops. Decent.

Bottle from Systembolaget, Östersund. Aroma is quite deep, like ilght smoke in the air and malty feel. Taste is quite nondescript but it is incredibly smooth. Apperance is gorgeous. Was not let down by this beer at all and it could be a very nice light accompaniment to xmas food. ************ Same conditions. felt more darker in flavour this time. more jul öl typ. 3.6 to 3.5

Bottle at home for a Finish Christmas Eve (Swedish beer was the best I could do!). Bought from ScandiKitchen. Biscuit and caramel aroma. Malty. Dark Amber. Bubbly. Scant traces of a head. Medium bitter with a hint of sweetness, before increasing in bitterness into the finish. Relatively light. Soft, pleasantly carbonated, mouthful. Long finish. Nice beer. Not convinced it’s what I’d go for as a ’Christmas party beer’ though, despite that being the translation of its name.

Gylden brun, litt rødlig med beige skum. Karamell, malt, melkesjokolade. Medium pluss bitter, lett søtlig. Lett juleøl, kort ettersmak. medium kullsyre.

Deep copper red with no head. It’s extremely grainy with plenty of biscuit malts in aroma and more so in its flavour, and it’s very tasty for it.
