A red-brown beer with a nice off-white head. The aroma is slightly spicy combined with notes of caramel. The flavor is malty with sweet notes of caramel as well as being rather hoppy which lead to an OK bitter end.

Clean amber color; generous thick head. Almost disappointing aroma: malty, metallic and somehow smelly. Much more interesting flavor: dry, malty, good roasted malt really pronounciated, quite complex, just a bit metallic. Palate boldly bitter.
Not extraordinary, but an interesting one (Scottish Ale).

[BOTTLED] Pours dark copper with a firm head. Caramel and hop aroma. Flavour starts with roasty, peaty, almost smoked malt and finishes with a long, hoppy bitterness.

Tarno makes this? What a shame. Bland amber lager, with uncomplex sweet malt flavours worthy of Pripps and a slippery finish.

Nut brown, sweetish, nicely malty and bitter. A good Christmas lager. ....
