On tap at MBCC 2023, pours a hazy blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out gentle wild yeast, grape must, and a touch of oak. Flavour is infected as hell, with grape must and phenolic city. Ugh, this is very bad. Infected garbage.

MBCC. Hazy pale yellow without head. Aroma is sweet, malty, bretty, wood and grapes. Flavor is quite sweet and moderate acidic. Dry and moderate acidic finish. 050523

Tap. Hazy golden color with white head. Aroma is mild funk, white grapes, juicy. Taste is grapes, sweet juiciness, brett funk too, some yoghurt, dry finish. Oily mouthfeel, fine-bubbled carbonation. Tempting and tasty!

Review based on the BJCP2021 guidelines (style 33A: oak / 29D: antão vaz). Bottle 33 cl - Batch L7193009 (BBF 09.27). AROMA: medium-high winy aroma with notes of wild fermentation (stable) and slight sweet fruitiness (orange). APPEARANCE: pale yellow color and clear. low white head with low retention. TASTE: initial medium-low notes similar to the aroma (horse blanket, stable) and low fruitiness. medium bitterness with a dry and slight brett character. MOUTHFEEL: low body with low carbonation. OVERALL: another grape ale that suffered wild fermentation rendering it overly dry.

Bottle @ Fugacidade, Funchal, Madeira. Small head with short duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are rich fruits, lactose acid, funk, wood and malt. Nice sour finish.
