Flesje gekregen van Tomhendriksen en thuis gedronken. Diep donkerbruin bier met een volle beige schuimkraag. Aroma van anijs en zoethout. De smaak is moutig en kruidig. De nasmaak is bitter.

Fles gedeeld door Roelzie. Het is een diep donkerbruin bier met een volle beige schuim. Het heeft een moutige licht fruitige geur. De smaak is moutig, ronzijnen en wat druif.

Dark brown color. Apple syrup in the aroma and flavor. Sweet. Thin and sticky, tastes a bit like a mix of oud bruin and sweet stout. Not my taste.

Draft at Bar Le Duc. Dark brown with a thick tan head. Aroma of overripe dark fruit, red fruits, licorice, chocolate and caramel. Flavour is above moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

On tap at the brewpub. thick creamy off white head. Hazy deep amber pour. Not even dark enough to be considered a porter. Not sure what beer style they were going for here. IIt’s more of a dubbel with a light infection. Not worth drinking twice

Didn’t realise this was labeled a stout. I tasted a Belgian dubbel beer, with a thin body. Some notes of cacao, yes, but not in a stout way.

Brown colour. Smells like a fart mixed with some coffee aromas. Tastes like iron. Active mouthfeel.
