Deep dark brown color, small head. Smell and taste are both not really pleasing. Low carbo, low body.

Säuerlicher und malziger Geruch mit deutlicher Wässrigkeit. Im Geschmack spielen eben diese Aromen nun die Hauptrollen, andere sind dagegen rar. Lieblich herber Abgang. Nichts Besonderes. /7/8/7//7

On tap at ’t Arendsnest. Clear dark reddish brown colour, off white to beige head. Aroma of dark fruits, roasted malts and yeast. Flavour is sweet, fruity, light roasted malts, some coffee notes and a hint of sourness. Short bitter finish. Dry and thin mouthfeel. A fruity porter.

(Draught at Arendsnest, Amsterdam, 1 Aug 2009) Dark brown colour with frothy, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with notes of dark bread and raisins. Malty taste with dark bread, raisins and a dry, roasted finish. Decent and balanced but a bit boring. Uncertain about the beer style.

Draught @ brewpub: Poured a dark brown with a thin brown head. Aroma is sweet syrup and malts. Taste is sour roasted malts, not much of a sweet stout in my mouth.

Bit hazy redbrown color, medium brown head. Aroma of roasted malt, some rye, bit licorice, some hop. Bitter taste, good combination of coffee, licorice and roasted malt, some caramel, chocolat. Quite ok actually.
