Bottle. Golden color. Urine and flowery hops in the aroma. Slightly acidic, flowery flavor. Watery, but still a bit malty. Notes of leak. Uninteresting beer.

Very local blonde beer practically only sold at the premises, which I visited a couple of years ago. Something in between an ordinary blond and a saison. Tasted from a one-year old bottle, it shows a sticky, thick, snow white head and golden blonde colour, hazy and darker (ochre) after adding the deposit. Aroma of bread, bark, sour cream, coriander, dried mushrooms, apple, lemon zest. Citrus freshness in the onset but also some lactic acidity due to mild infection; dry, powdery palate, some drying coriander but subtly so, bready malts, dry finish. Better and more refreshing from tap at Oxymore.

75cl bottle with a weird plastic cap. No BB dates, no bottling date.

Pale, slightly hazy yellow beer with a greenish shine and very dense, whipped-eggwhite head, quite stable. Faint green apples, volatile, and lots of grains, faint citrus. Later more fruity esters, apples returning. First thing that strikes in the taste is aged peanuts flavour, which I connect to fatty acids, and not a very good sign, I fear. Some grains behind it, and a faint - very faint - acidity, citrus-like. A bit slick, well-carbonated, and rather thin. Unsatisfying. It desperately needs some characteristic to make it discernible.

(Bottle at One Pint on 2008-02-12) Yellow and cloudy. Small quickly disappearing head. A bit sour but fruity nose. Acidy taste. Not completely lacking body. Yeast in nose and taste, too. Even some stomach acid in taste. When I look at the other ratings it makes me wonder if this bottle had got some flaw in it.

Bottled. Yellowish golden colour with small white creamy head that lasts for a while. Leaves some lace. Also yeast particles gathering on the bottom of the glass. Aroma is fruits, some sweet malts along with grass and some earth. Also some slight dishwater-like notes. Flavour is quite the same. If it really is a saison, it’s probably the mildest saison I have had... (as for the aroma and flavour).

Bottled 75cl
Hazy orange color, small creamy head. Wheaty, fruity estery aroma. Flat mouthfeel, fruity and a bit honeyish flavor. Sourish and papery dry aftertaste. Lots of yeast in the bottom of glass. Quite simple saison.
