Continually Hopped Italian Pilsner

Un’Ora … that’s 60 minutes in Italian! We took the idea behind our beloved 60 Minute IPA and created an off-centered Italian pilsner that’s been continually hopped for … you guessed it, a full 60 minutes.

Brewed with the finest flint corn polenta, Un’Ora offers everything you’ve come to know (and expect) from a pilsner. Golden with a malty sweetness, the crisp finish of Un’Ora will captivate your taste buds and have you coming back time and time again.

*Un’Ora is a Continually Hopped Variety Pack exclusive.

Pours clear golden with a huge, fluffy white head. Aroma of hay, floral malt, Pilsen malt. Taste has mild mellifluous notes, some bread malt, more floral elements. Palate has some sweet finish, lingers in the mouth, sticky. Not bad.

2 month old can A: Clear pale gold with a short, frothy fast falling white head. S: Light aroma of bread, flowers, hay and herbs. T: Lightly bitter grassy herbal hops alongside dry toasty bread. Vegetal aftertaste. M: Average carbonation, light crisp body and dry clean finish. O: I was disappointed to learn this was made with corn but it's fine, no complaints.

From a cheap 2$ can, this stuff is certainly clear filtered pale. Nose is slightly metallic, no hint of the hour of minute hops within. Pretty good level of co2 on the uptake. Taste is pilsner fer sher. I'm surprised at the minimal effect this has on the taste. Yes, considering the description I was thinking this would be an india pale lager, you know, eye pee elle, but it aint. It's no different than most other domestic attempts at the pilsner style. It's actually easy to take and it does have some common themes as with the real pils of the old country. Thank you DFH. Not bad!
