Bottle 33 cl. Clear amber, pretty strange lifeless pour that only leaves a tiny, rough, white head. Somewhat spicy, perfumy aroma - maybe it's all a yeast job. Medium body, sweet crystal malts and again this perfumy spiciness. Some discreet finishing bitterness. Not quite up there with Palm or De Koninck. 060825

Picked up on the Sweden trip and drunk at home on Easter Monday. Cloudy orange with a foamy head. Aroma is deeply yeasty with pineapple and toffee overtones. Taste is mildly bitter on a sweet, malty base. Lingering banana and spice over a faintly acidic, pineapple-like finish. Medium bodied, chewy, prickly carbonation. Good one.

(Draught at En Öl- och Spritmässa, Stockholm, 7 Oct 2023) Golden colour, hazy, with foamy tan head. Fruity, spicy nose with notes of apricots, citrus, orange peel and a light acidity. Fruity, spicy taste with orange peel, apricots, bread, herbs, hay and a mild herbal/spicy bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Tasty and well balanced. Nice one.
