Cerbero purple label is an old ale aged for one year in ex-wine barrels with the addition of a small percentage of Emilian Saba.
The malty tones - biscuit and toffee - alternate with vinous scents from Saba: passito wine, balsamic liquor. The aromatic bouquet is embellished with wild notes of brettanomyces (leather, spicy pungency) and oxidative depth, as per the historical interpretation of the style.
Cerberus is a meditation drink, with a silky smoothness and pleasant sensations of warmth in the throat, softened on the palate by a slight Sherry acidity. Evolving product suitable for aging.

Tap. Dark red. Marzipan almonds. Taste is light, then a longer warm berry stone fruit aftertaste. Rather sweet. Checked again with the barkeeper - it is this beer.

Tap at Muted Horn. Light hazy claret, low pink head. Toasted almond, bubblegum, lightly tart berry. Medium mellow body. Ribes, red wine must, a bit candy, light berryskin tartness, fruit sugar finish.seems this is a new different batch?

Keg at Stuyck and Co, Madrid, 29/10/22. Deep chestnut brown with a good sized lasting beige cap. Nose is cherry skins, oak, dusty fruits, toffee, fruit cake mix. Taste comprises fruit balsams, vinous, acidic kiss, dried fruit, herb. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced puckering kiss. Solid stuff ... comes across more Flanders Red like than an Old Ale.

Base beer is a classic old ale, but it is sour and rustic on top. Great tartness. A bit muddied. Het lagerhuys ams
