I'm surprised I haven't rated this yet, I usually have a sharp eye for new beers from my state. I think maybe I did but, rating was lost? It's been around since 1987? Not sher, anyway; this looks like many fest beers, clear and off pale slight orange brown tint. Smells like any other fest beer two, you know, like a heavier lager of sorts, some metallic olfactory in there. Good feel on the palate, comes across just a tad boozy yet acceptable. Easily drinkable, quite okto in nature. Goes down nicely on a cool late summer day. Good co2 level too! Yea just like the old days, the beer that has a little more kick than your typical macro pale lager. Thanks troegie, even if I did rate it before, it was nice to do another bottle of this.

Pours clear deep copper into a shaker. Off-white head with good retention recedes to skim surface. Caramel aromas. Soft with sweet hot caramel and molasses front to back and into the dry, earthy bark finish.
More biscuity than bready. Sweet malt. Good showing.
Bryce hit his 300th HR today, in a losing effort. Ninth inning lead blown by Kimbrel and Stubbs.

Honey brown with a large fluffy brown head that lingered and left good lacing. Sweet and malty, somewhat astringent and with honey and caramel. Long finish. Medium body.

12 ounce bottle. Bright copper red color. Creamy beige head. Toasted malt aroma hints at toasted sweet bread. Sweet toasted malt flavor has caramel notes. Smooth creamy mouthfeel. Herbal hops balance this nicely.
