(Bottle, 23 Dec 2023) Reddish brown colour with frothy, beige head. Malty nose with caramel, treacle, crisp-bread, apricots and orange. Malty taste with notes of treacle, caramel, crisp-bread, apricots, chocolate, orange peel and a mild spicy bitterness. More than medium body, with a certain sweetness. Warming and harmonious bock. Nice one.

Superficial festival rating @ Rebel Beer Fest 2024. Unclear amber body under a dense beige head. Aroma has malt, dry fruit and toffee. Taste is sweet malt, caramel, dry fruit, a bit nutty and well hidden alcohol. Fine body with nice aftertaste.

Tap at Pikkulintu Ruttopuisto, Helsinki. Color is cloudy Brown with small white head. Aromas and flavors: Bread, some chocolate, malts... simple but enjoyable and very soft.

(Keg at Pikkulintu Ruttopuisto, 20230816) The beer poured dark brown and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had grass, malts, molasses and caramel. Palate was full bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were grass, malts, molasses, caramel and bitterness. Aftertaste had grass, malts and bitterness. A tasty and balanced malty brew with stronger than usual hop notes.
