Blik thuis geprobeerd met LiekevdV. Het is een diep donkerbruin tot zwart bier met een volle lichtbruinige schuimkraag. Het heeft een aroma van gebrande mout, koffie en rook. De smaak is vol gebrande mout, chocolade en een toffee afdronk.

33cl can. A black beer with a big beige head. Aroma of mid sweet dark roasted malt and chocolate. Taste of roasted dark malt, chocolate, bitter hops, pine, coffee. Long bitter roasty finish. Good!

Can at Gent tasting. Opaque jetblack color, beige to mocha colored head that's quite creamy actually. Very strong roasted malts and burnt malts aroma and flavor. Very bitter as well. A bit over the top imo. Hmm a bit harsh imo.

Clear dark brown to black beer, small creamy beige head, unstable, beige head, non adhesive. Aroma: oh my, good roast, chocolate, very malty. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: good roast, some alcohol, very bitter, malty, chocolate, some charcoal. Aftertaste: very bitter roast, coffee, alcoholic touch, caramel malts, bitter finish.

33 cl. can @ home, bought @ Kulenborgse Bierhandel. Pitch black with a beige head. Roasted malts aroma with coffee and chodolate and some citrus hops. Sweet taste with a long roastbitter finish. Thick and creamy. A great 'standard' imperial stout.
