Bottle shared at Gent tasting. Opaque black color, no head. Aroma is insanely lovely bourbon with liquorice, and (Dutch) "van die drop van vroeger met die kleine zoute kristalletjes", soy sauce. Flavor is malts, dark malts, bourbon, liquorice, soy sauce. Maybe just a tiny bit over the top, but still very nice!

Panda at home post tasting, thanks to Dave and also for muling, 11/02/23. Black with a tan cap that dissipates edgewards. Nose is bitter chocolate, figs, ripe bourbon barrel, oak, molasses, brown sugar melt. Taste comprises cacao nibs, coffee grinds, bourbon bite, dark malts, light roast, dried fruit rinds, figgy jam, spice. Full bodied, fine carbonation with an oily feel, semi drying close with a balanced rising boost. Top drawer impy stout ... great bitter sweet balance allied to well tempered bourbon.

Bottle shared in London - many thanks to Dave. Pours black-brown with a bubbly beige topping. Rich, sweet but not cloying, earthy and a bit nutty, some bourbon, ashy roast, charcoal, cocoa. Full bodied, oily and lightly chewy, with fine carbonation. Warming finish, hearty dark malts, burnt honey. Good stuff.

Bottle shared at Columbus tasting . 2023-02-02. Thanks to wingman. A dark mahogany brown coloured pour with a halo of mid tan head. Aroma is semi sweet, waxy, bourbon, brown sugars, cskey, vanilla boxxy, solvent, . Flavour is composed of cakey malts, dark chocolates ,green apple, brown sugar, roast, vanilla, little harsh. Little harsh.

Enjoyed on tap at Cycle, St. Pete. Finally made it back! It doesn't get much better than this. Dark and dense midnight pour. Gentle whiskey over smooth chocolate nose. Flavor is dense, fully rounded. Toast, chocolate, whiskey, charred barrel, exceptionally smooth on the barrel notes. Nobody does it quite like these guys. Amazing.

22oz bottle pours an oily opaque black with a ring of brown head. Plenty of legs. Booze blows off the top, caramel, licorice, plenty of burnt malt and charcoal. Flavor is quite true, solid imperial stout base with nice, hearty barrel over the top. Huge caramel and licorice. Plenty of char. Burnt marshmallow on the end. Full bodied, boozy finish.
