Draught at European Beer Festival, Copenhagen. Clear dark brown, almost no head. Roasty and toasty. Sweet and fruity with clean hard mouthfeel. A bit of metal and tobacco along with a mild soothing hazelnut flavour which is needed to cover the sharp edgy mouthfeel.

(On tap) Hazy dark brown with an orange hue and a beige, lacing head. Aroma of hard roasted malts. Medium body with distinctly hard roasted malt accents and a whiff of coffee - and perhaps also metal and ashes. The finish is dry with a burned, malt bitter finish. Well crafted. 290708

On tap at Århus Ølfestival. A clear, dark brown beer with a small, beige head. Coffee, butterscotch and some fruityness in the aroma. Flavors of coffee, roasted malt, dried fruit and some bitterness, leading to a coffee finish. Medium body, quite dry. Decent, easy to drink beer, but boring and with the mostly annoying aroma and flavor of butterscotch. (080516)
