Silk is a 13% Imperial stout made with our friends over at Pomona Island. Loosely based around Pomona's 7% Meadowsweet, honey and vanilla stout, we've upped the ABV to 13% and blended the meadowsweet with woodruff for a fragrant yet decadent stout. With the unusual ingredients of the beer, this artwork had to be heavily influenced by nature. It hints at some of our nature-themed labels from the past five years, combined with some new additions, for our latest nature lovers label.

Draft at the Industry Tap Sheffield. Off black colour with a tan head. Aroma and taste start roasted malty and light bitter with a growing nutty sweetness. Smooth full body.

Can thanks to Stuu666. Appearance - deep brown to black and beige head. Nose - sweet chocolate, tonka and cinnamon. Sweet floral. Taste - sweet tonka and cinnamon and sweet chocolate. Palate - medium bodied with a sweet middle and finish. Overall - very nice.

Can at ash's. Pours black, nose is chocolate, aniseed, herbal, taste is chocolate, caramel, medicinal, minty. Pretty weird.

440ml can. Pitch black with a tan head. Aroma is very fragrant, herbal, medicinal almost, chocolate. Taste is sweet, chocolatey, with overriding medicinal herbal flavours, honey-like sweetness. Full bodied, smooth, and the booze is well hidden, it seems good until those medicinal herbs come back. Weird.
