Had this at the European Beer Festival Kobenhaven 13-09-08 This wouldn’t win a beauty contest pouring as muddy brown as it did, but it was a very good beer. Nice hop oils very pushy bitterness, yet another classic example of Mikkeller’s in yer’ face approach approach of beer making. I liked this more than others on our table.

Draught@EBF2008. Deep hazy ambery colour, mediumsized white head. Aroma is fruity hops, alcohol, very sweet, and also has some mild notes of vanilla. Falvour is grass, alcohol, mild fruity hoppy dryness. Nice brew otherwise, but a little bit sticky sweet.

Tap at EBF: Muddy amber with a off white head. Nose is Simcoe hops... Pine, peach & grapefruit. Power bitter & sticky. Crisp. Body is medium. Some sweet malts & sugar. Extremely one dimensional but nevertheless very nice & tasty!

Draught@EBF
Dark ruby-hazelnut brown color, not much head. Strong hop juice aroma. A bit sweet, extremely hoppy with licorice-malty flavors. Hops and malts both in extreme, a bit similar to NΓΈgne ΓΈ #100. Good beer when sampled in small quantities.

Draught Little head left, red-hazy amber beer. Extremely dry-hoppy nose. Caramel, fruit cake. Bitter-hoppy, near metallic, but balanced by good cakey malts. Some fruityness, bit oily from the hops, vinous. Impressive IIPA, and essentialy American - including in the never-ending name.

Hazy brown with tiny off white head. Sweet aroma with loads of hops, caramel and toasted malt. Sweet flavour with toasted malt, caramel, grapefruit, pine and hoppy notes. Ends with massive bitterness. Excellent!

Draught at European Beer Festival, Copenhagen. Hazy brown. Intense perfumy piney nose. Sweetish and full bodied with ridiculous amounts of hops. Inky and orangey together with licorice. The bitterness grows to the proportions of a category-5 hop hurricane. Unbalanced, but that is no doubt the point with it.
