Bottle at parents house - 24/08/12. Light golden colour with a very thin off-white head that soon dissipates. Rather dark in colouration for a pale ale! Lively carbonation is evident. Sweet malt nose, honey, ripe apple, buttery diacetly tones. Sweetish malt flavour, wheat, fruit, background hop notes. Lightish in body and over carbonated with a sharp finish. Not one to re-visit.

50cl bottle at Bittles Bar, Belfast. Pours golden with a white head. Quite strange! Doesn’t smell very nice. A bit chemical taste with a hint of cinnamon flavour. A bit sweet with a strange aroma of almost rotten fruit, acutally a bit nauseating. I’m not sure if this is as it should be - I hope not. Not something I would drink again if this is how it is supposed to be, but willing to retry. I hope this was a bad bottle becaus this was very close to beeing undrinkable. Nice label though. Will try it again if I get the opportunity... (2011-06-09)

Pours golden with gentle bubbles and a decent head. The nose has a gentle blood orange or pink grapefruit note. The taste has lemon zest and lemon cough sweets. The palate shows a medium body, a medium-thick tangy texture and a clean zesty finish. Overall, a lovely balanced and quite individual pale ale.
