Darught @ EBF 2008. Ugly pinkish orange color. Red berries and vinegar in the aroma. Red berries in the sour vinegar-like flavor, luckliy not offensively sour. Lemon coming up in the aftertaste. Good, not excellent.

Aromatisch säuerlicher Geruch mit gut abgepasstem Fruchtanteil. Dezent säuerlicher Antrunk, aromatisch und von der Intensität her noch weiter steigend. Die Fruchtigkeit ist mit der Säuerlichkeit auf gleicher Höhe, es ergibt sich ein harmonischer Geschmack, mit der Zeit wirkt die Säuerlichkeit etwas strenger, bleibt aber gut ausbalanciert. Ein absolut gelungenes Lambic mit vollem und komplexem Körper. 11/13/12/13//13

Draft. A hazy red beer with a small reddish head. The aroma has sour notes of red currant. The flavor is quit sour and dominated by red currant, though also with some brett notes and what comes with that, leading to a tart finish. The acidity tickles the tongue.

On tap at European Beer Festival, Copenhagen. A hazy, candy-red beer with no head. Berries, sourness, barnyard, horse blanket and some lemon in the aroma which is quite subtle. Would like it more pronounced. The funky flavor has lemon, barnyard and horse blanket, finishing with a lasting lambicish lemony flavor. Yet another nice limbic from Mikkeller. (080913)

On tap @ EBF 2008. Reddish, dim orange body with no head. Aroma is mostly sourish acidic with a hint of fruit. Flavor is sour fruity with vinegar and a tart finish. Authentic and definitivly drinkable.

Draught at EBF 2008, Copenhagen, Denmark. Clear medium orange red color with virtually none head. Aroma is heavy fruity - berry tart, redcurrants, hay, wood notes. Flavor is moderate to heavy acidic with a long duration, and a dry dry finish. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is flat. [130908]

(On tap) Pours a slightly hazy pink with absolutely no head. Distinct tart and fruity nose. Light body with a distinctly astringent, vinegarish acidity and a discreet underlying fruitiness. Ends extremely sour. 130908

Pale cloudy red with no head. Aroma of sour berries with distinct Cantillon funk, and a tiny hint of medicinal iodine. Delicious dry and tart with lots of red currant character and a long lasting berry flavour-.
