Two positive intros here. One was Clown Shoes. And the other was Belgian Style Quadrupel Ale. I got this 22 oz bomber at The Cellar in Odessa recently and am now second in line to review. Time to proceed of course on this 420 day. I lift the cap off and pour into my Chimay glass. The body is an attractive lightish amber with the top showing a thin, eggshell brown with steady replenishment. It has a fine nose, yellow plum, cane sugar, meadow. And now a sampling, dark raisin, biscuit, nectarine, some yeastiness, malt. All with a decent spiciness and an ending bitter touch. Not the top American quad I have tried but pretty doggone good.
