This Tropical Hazy IPA brewed in collaboration with Caleb Truax punches you right in the face with bursts of juicy citrus and tropical flavors. Perfectly soft and hazy, this is a well-loved brew by many.
Caleb Truax fans know his mantra, “Cut No Corners.” That’s because nothing’s ever been handed to him, from being humbly raised by a single mom to modestly starting his boxing career in night clubs and casinos. Outsiders were surprised, but Caleb’s insiders were not when he scored a majority decision to claim the IBF super-middleweight championship from James DeGale in December 2017. Naturally, Caleb’s signature beer also “Cuts No Corners,” a mandarin orange flavor with notes of coconut and citrus. Like it’s namesake, 8-Count is full body with a smooth finish.

Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 7.5
Pint cab from Flanagan's 8.21.20. Murky orange large foamy tan head decent retention. Aroma of grapefruit, mandarins, pale malt. Taste is sweet citrus... mandarins and grapefruit again. Some pith. Medium bodied low bitterness. Nice.
