Bottle. Super rich malts. Sweet, big fruity ale yeast tones. Like an English Barleywine at times.

GTMW 2023. Alcohol is surprisningly prominent in the flavor and aroma. Malt, alcohol thinning the palate, some caramel, dry, bitter hops but alcohol is too high.

On tap at Giant Jones, pours a hazy dark amber brown with a small beige head. Aroma has toasted bready malt and a hint of toasted caramel. Flavour is much the same, with lots of toasted bready malt, toasted caramel, and a touch of booze thats kept in check. For such a high ABV beer, this is remarkably smooth. Very good.

(Tap) hazy, orange amber colour with a small cream coloured head; aroma of grain, jam; creamy palate; balanced flavour with a long, light bitter finish

Keg at the brewery during the March 2023 Prohibition Speakeasy Road Trip, 3/10/23. Thanks Adam! Hazy copperbrown, large tan head, good retention. Aroma of toffee, raisin, cat hair. Taste is toffee, raisin, pine, maple, cherry. Smooth. Nice.

Pretty good doppel alt. A little heavy on the bitter side but otherwise fairly true to style. If I was a German I'd be envious.
