On tap at a lovely restaurant near the park near the Van Gogh museum in Amsterdam. Hazy yellow pour with a weak head. Fruity, fairly standard character for the style. Not too intense but has a nice flavor.

Etwas muffiger Hefeantrunk mit deutlicher Herbe. Erfrischend, etwas bananig, bleibend. Die Banenenote verfliegt recht schnell, nicht aber die Herbe. Noch wenig würzig, etwas grasig hopfig. Nett. 11/9/8/7/8/8

The bottle looks good, the beer in the glass as well, but could be a bit darker for a dunkelweizen. Starts mild-malty, not roasty, modest yeasty-sweet, fruity like apricot. Well balanced but too mild finish. Average!

Bottled 300ml. -Cloudy pale brown coloured, small white head, discreet wheaty spicy nose. Sweet malty, fruity (banana dominates) and caramel with notes of spices. Also some metallic notes in rather fruity finish. Alcohol is totally inconspicuous. Ok weizen.

Bottle: Chestnut-amber coloured, persistent off-white foam with a little lace; sourdough and citrus-fruits in the nose, shy traces of cacao underneath; quite solid sweet and slightly sourish flavou, soft+medium bodied; quite short sourish-caramelly finish. Pleasant, nourishing stuff..........

Bottle. It pours an amber-orange body, unclear, with a small, dense, off-white head. The aroma has caramel tending towards butterscotch, banana, some spices and orange peel. Banana and caramel in the flavor, some cloves and a little citrus. Medium body with nice effervescence. Banana and cloves in the finish, and also a hint of anise. Really nice for a non-German weissbier, wouldn’t shy away from a few more. 090619

0.3L bottle, small head, murky light brown with yellow taints, aroma of banana with touches of citrus and rubber, flavour of vanila, apple and citrus with a light sour bitterness, short aftertaste. Quite balnd and not a good dunkelweizen.
