bottle - Pours hazy light orange-brown with a one finger white head and some lacing. It has a light yeasty, malty aroma. The taste is sweet with some yeast that displays minimal fruit notes. There’s a lively palate and a touch of hops in the finish. Not bad, but not too good either.

Swingtop bottle @ home. Murky amber coloured, big off-white head. Smell of malts, toffee, banana, some alcohol. Taste is sweet, toffee, some yeast, wheat, banana, but remains refreshing and does not become cloying. Nice mouthfeel. A good one from Grolsch.

Bottle, 6.0%. Acidic, malty aroma. Cloudy light brown colour. Very small white head. The flavour is malty and caramelly, slightly sweet. Some butterscotch, but in the way I like it.

Medium dirty-yellow head over muddy orange beer with a mossy shine. Looks particularly uninviting, for once -1. Banana, sourish (lactic, wheat & citrus), even some cloves. Hyper-classical, just lacking some dark malt notes. Rather sweet, with just a sourish line that speaks essentialy of wheat; enormous amount of fruity esters, specially citrus and banana. Ends slightly empty. Medium bodied at best, just a bit watery. With the exception of the rather watery finish, this could be any German Weizen. Looks like they learned some tricks at Groenlo, when they went shopping east.

45 cL bottle, thanks to MiP. Pours hazy orange to light brown with a lacing off-white head. Light spiced and caramel malt aroma. Mild wheat aroma beneath. Flavour is fruity with a light caramel note and a mild spice flavour intermixed. Light butterish note in addition. Ends sweet and light fruity.

Bottle Swing top: Poured a brown with orange haze, head was a pillow top off white. Aroma is very different, but the same. It has fruit banana, with caramel, and yeast. The taste is sweet with caramel and banana, very pleasant.

(45cl swing top bottle) Cloudy, amber colour with a huge light-beige foamy head, melting down slowly. Yeasty, slightly sweet and ashy wheat-malty nose, slightly toasted with green banana and citrus, accompanied by light clovy phenols and traces of vanilla. Light-sweet flavour, medium bodied with a mellow carbonation. Slightly yeasty, moderately wheaty taste with notes of banana; light-sweet, slightly sour-fruity finish with shy spicy phenols. Likeable and refreshing.
