The bottle looks very simple, the beer in the glass not too zippy, short-living head. Starts malty and dry, a bit rusty. Some fruity notes of plum. Finish a bit moldy, unbalanced, too dry. Not my favourite!

Bügelverschlußflasche: Clear, amber coloured, medium-sized slowly collapsing loose beige head; strawy hayish-bitter nose with a background of sweet toasted malt; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, light bodied, but a bit sticky; short sweetish-bitter, a bit hayish finish. Drinkable, not too harmonic...........

33cl bottle. Pours amber/brown with a small creamy head. Nose is sweet roasted caramel and a vaguely metallic note that slowly fades away. Taste is bread, vegetables and grain. A bit of caramel. Ends sweet and syrupy. Smooth yet a bit thin palate. Average

Bottle. Clear brown body under a small beige head. Malty, roasted aroma with an underlying note of cooked vegetables. There’s a vague note of vegetables in the flavor too, but mostly it’s roasted, sweet and grainy. Medium body. A drinkable but rather boring beer. (080216)
