Date stamped canned on 3 October 19, so that might account for mild Citrus hop aroma. Flavors are Citrus hops, Bittersweet at first with more bitter coming towards the Finish. Good carbonation body nice beer.

On tap at Grizzly’s. Pours a clear gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has lots of grass with notes of earthy onion and light pine supporting and an light grain backbone. Flavor combines grass, earthy pine and light earthy onion well and is backed by light grains.

This is amazing! Pours a cloudy, golden-yellow, with minimal head. Bursting with citrus and hop aromas. Flavor is quite bitter, with emphasis on the pine-flavor of the hop, but there’s a huge grapefruit layer as well, along with other citrus. One of the best IPAs from the state of Minnesota I’ve sampled yet (and the second outstanding IPA I’ve sampled from Castle Danger, after their Red Hop Rising). This is what Surly Wet should have been (and wasn’t)!
