Pour is a clear brown with a large tan head. Aroma is of a slight roasted nut. Flavor is the same. Slight roasted nut and caramel. Finish is a bit thin but it has some nutty aspects to make this worth a try.

Aromaz are malty Sweet with a little solvent. Flavors are traditional slightly roasty nutbrown but with a watery body that doesn't help anything

12 ounce bottle from Woodman's Green Bay. Clear dark brown with a bit of red, thin creamy tan head, good retention. Aroma of toffee, caramel, and a bit of cherry. The taste is caramel, nuts, tart cherry and cranberry. Thin. Maybe a bit infected, but solid.

Sample at Great Taste of the Midwest on 08/09/2014: Clear brownish-amber color with a medium thin foamy off-white head that dissipates quickly to an outer ring. Spotty lacing. Roasted nuts and malt in the nose. Light body with flavors of roast malt, peanuts and slight hops. The finish is sweet with a short malty aftertaste. Just average overall.

Draft at OF. Glowing orange-brown. Steady creamy beige head. Sweet, nutty, a little buttery. Medium bodied, one dimensional. Sweet and malty. Not so impressive, but drinkable.

A very tasty brown ale. Sampled this at the brewery/grille itself in draft and then later purchased a six pack of bottles. Sweet, nutty flavor. Rich color. Goes well with food. One to look for.

Indeed; don’t be intimidated...by this plain brown ale. A very light flavor with nuts and even lighter hops. It looks nicer than it is with the dark amber color. It is a simple brown ale; and there is little more that needs to be said.
