Fairly clear golden and peach coloured body with a very thin pure white head that fades relatively quickly and leaves just about nothing on top after a few seconds. Aroma of very subdued hop notes, a light dash of malts and a sliver of coconuts and lactose here - not much doing in the nose at all. Light to Medium-bodied; Quite strong hop notes dominate with a light dose of funky cardboardie malts with a touch of yeast and biscuity notes, but only a sliver of coconuts and funky grain are noticeable towards the end, perhaps a rice or quinoa or something, but not too exciting. Aftertaste shows some softer hop notes without much alpha acids or bitterness, but the funky malt is definitely there and not in a good way, in a sort of pungent, not-going-anywhere way, with a light dose of coconut, but nothing too pungent here. Overall, a pretty odd beer that shows some coconuts, not much hops and the very funky off-grain malts that is definitely not 'West Coast Style', unless that just includes the fact that it was made on the West Coast. I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from La Bodega in Girdwood (Alyeska Resort) on 28-June-2021 for US$4,55 sampled on the top of the Harding Icefield Trail at Kenai Fjords National Park with my daughter in celebration of my birthday on 30-June-2021.

The Aromas are resin Hops, a little caramel malt and coconut. Flavors are like nose, balanced bittersweet, good carbonation, body and finish.

On tap at Duck Foot. Hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma and taste of hops, cocoa and some citrus. Also light malt. The finish was medium bitter.
